Why the Urba-EA Club ? Retour vers le haut de la page
  • How to make the IS serve the business strategy ?
  • How to make the IS evolve quickly to fit the evolution of business and organisation ?
  • How to make them evolve by bringing in the progress of technology ?
  • How to improve the consistency, the reliability and the quality of data shared by several information systems ?
  • How to better manage the existing IS ?
  • How to manage the knowledge of business data, processes and application software ?
  • How to represent it through maps ?

Some companies saw the importance of mastering the complexity of their Information Systems (IS), permitting themselves to control its evolution to fit business needs and taking also the transverse issues into account.

These companies set up an approach of Enterprise Architecture driven by IS people specifically skilled for this: the Enterprise Architects.

The number of these architects is fast-expanding. Sharing experience and skills is very rewarding. Know-how and methodology arise, leading to new concepts and appropriate formalism. This mutual information is a key to success and efficiency for each one returning in his/her company: it provides background and tools that can be used to structure the relation both with business stakeholders and leaders of IT projects.

The Urba-EA Club, “IS Urbanization and Enterprise Architecture”, is an association of French companies which purpose is to organize this exchange of experience between enterprise architects, to promote these skills and methods leading to the recognition of this profession..
